It can make your skin itchy just you should mix it with coconut or olive or suitable oils and also I dissolve it in red vine and yes I have beautiful full color red. Only problem after shower you should use brown or red towels. I actually diy my hair 2 a month. But it is also prevent my hair shedding a big time. Very red, very gorgeous! I left it in for four hours and did not use coffee or rooibos tea as I love the full red colour.

I have been using red henna powder for years, and am sorry to have to say that this is a very low quality powder. There is hardly any dye release overnight. Messy but better for you and the environment. Very messy. You have to leave the paste overnight to develop and on your hair for three hours. This is not an easy way to colour your hair and I'm sure there are other ways to get your hair red. BUT, it is a healthier alternative.
